Не слышал такого. На Амуре не бывал, а в Забайкалье не сталкивался.

УпОротый -вроде совсем другое.

Или украинское "пОраться" по хозяйству, тоже не то.

А может от "упАриться", иногда говаривали закончив физически

тяжелую работу.
